Take your first step and register today:

Please note minimum sponsorships apply: individuals £250, teams £1,000, families £250 per adult. All money you raise goes to ChildLine, celebrating 25 years of being there for children in distress or danger.

  Training

Kick start your training today by watching the video below, full of tips for our intrepid Gherkineers.

Or test yourself against other participants and track your progress with our Step Change app, helping you virtually race to the top of the Gherkin and other landmark buildings. The app counts your steps, times your ascent and logs your results on a leader board. Once you’ve conquered the Gherkin, you can try the Empire State Building as well.

Last year, ChildLine counsellors answered nearly 670,000 calls, emails and online chats from children. Every penny you raise will help us be there when they need someone to talk to.
