Melton Mowbray Fairtrade fortnight was launched this week with 'Banana Bounty' at The Co-operative store café.

The evening featured a talk from Moses Renee, a Fairtrade banana producer from St Lucia,
who told an audience of around 100 people about the positive impact Fairtrade is having on his community - including the provision of a pre-school.
As part of Fairtrade Fortnight, this Saturday 3 March there will also be a Fairtrade Market Stall in the town centre, where you can find out more and even sample some Fairtrade goods.
