Cold Call Alert - Ideal Alarms Ltd
Please be aware of reports that are colleagues in Lincolnshire are currently experiencing, raised by members of the public regarding a company called Ideal Alarms Ltd cold calling by telephone within the Lincolnshire region.
The company is offering low priced security alarms, which inflate in price once you agree to a home visit.
The best course of action is to not enter into a conversation with the company and just replace the telephone receiver.
If you do receive a home visit from this company, BY LAW the sales representative MUST LEAVE your property when requested to do so and if they refuse, this is an offence and you should call 999.
We have concerns that the sales technique is very aggressive and may place vulnerable residents in a position where they may feel unable to say no.
