Rutland Plastic Containers (RPC) Ashwell Business Park, Ashwell Prison, Rutland County Council
It was reported at yesterdays County Council meeting RPC were no longer considering purchasing the bulk of the former prison site from Ministry of Justice. Instead they will invest in there current site with an aim to increase employment.
Rutland County Council is set to continue talks with the Ministry of Justice and has increased a allocation to fund this project to a maximum of £35k
All Councillor seemed to be very keen to see the development of a Business Park in Rutland.
They have now woken up to the idea new homes means new people who might like to work here in Rutland
