Man Arrested Going Equipped  to steal fuel in North Luffenham, Rutland

In the early hours of Tuesday 13th March close to the village of North Luffenham the Police were alerted by a call from a member of the public, to suspicious activities by a couple of males.
During a search of the area by Rutland officers, a motor vehicle that has been seen recently close to the scene of diesel thefts in the county was stopped and a 28 years old, Lithuanian male was arrested for going equipped.
Items seized from the van and in the close proximity to the vehicle were empty, 25 litres barrels, an electric pump, tubes & funnels for liquids.
