Fitness Centre Oakham Town Council
Fitness Centre Oakham Town Council
The leases have now been signed and are due to be sent to the Council’s Solicitor.
The lease is for three months and rent is set at less than half of the market value.
The Clerk said he met with Karen Mellor of McCombie Smith Architects regarding the specification for the refurbishment of the building.
Karen will be putting this together with a view to that forming the basis of any tender document.
I have also received notification from our solicitor that a cheque has been posted to her for the outstanding quarters rent from last year.
Anyone one would else in the real world of business would have been evicted for the constant default.
But then the Clerk did like to point out the Christian attitude Oakham Town Council need to take when
dealing with the fitness centre.
Baring that in mind I hope the tax payers are all happy christians knowing their taxes are supporting this commercial venture?
Maybe free membership is on the cards for all Oakham Residents?
Can I have some to start up a business please?
