Rutland Mini Olympics
Does your child fancy themselves as the next Usain Bolt or Jessica Ennis?
An
indoor mini Olympics is taking place at Catmose Sports (Thursday 16 August) where they will get the chance to try out all of
their favourite sports, crafts and other activities.
The
event is being organised by Visions Children’s Centre, takes place
between 2.00pm and 4.00pm,
and is free for all Rutland families to
attend.
Activities taking place on the day include:
- Mini shot put, long jump, high jump
- Mini archery
- Balloon volleyball
- Synchronised musical statues/sleeping lions
- Running races
- Crafts including making Olympic medals and flames
- Olympic Games quizzes
