Rutland County Councillor Christine Emett Conservative from Morcott Windmill, Rutland, won her Ketton seat uncontested. at the May 2011 local elections.
Very quickly she was appointed to the top six (cabinet) at Rutland County Council.
Something suggests to me, she won't walk into Corby as easily as she expects.
She has little experience in local government and has never won an election.
At the election count 2011 she stood by and observed the dodgy disgraceful fight conducted by her Tory
Colleagues. Who insisted they would help the counters in an attempt to save Conservative Peter Jones from losing his seat. I would like to think even he would not approved of the Tory mobs behaviour?
Many rules were broken resulting in the electoral commission giving guidance to the election returning officer chief Executive Helen Briggs.
