Rutland County Council Planning Meeting 11/11/14 Applications from Cllr Hollis, Homes Cottesmore & Cllr Emmett Cooker Windmill, Woolfox Airfield

Rutland County Council Planning Meeting 11/11/14 Applications from Cllr Hollis, Homes Cottesmore & Cllr Emmett Cooker Windmill, Woolfox Airfield

Video to Follow:

Cllr Hollis put in a application to build a number of house in Cottesmore.

The application was turned down.

Mainly due to the field being in a conservation area and outside the permitted development area.

Cllr Hollis's representative referred to Cottesmore residents as nimby

Cllr Cross was partially wearing his sensible hat this evening. He accused the councils planning officers of being dishonest and deceptive. No surprise there when you consider their boss is
the CEO Helen Briggs.

Cllr Emmett can now have a new cooker in her listed windmill at Morcott.

Rutland County Council agreed to refer an application to construct a Wind Farm and Solar
Farm at the Former Airfield and adjacent land to the north of Woolfox Depot, to the Secretary
of State for Communities and Local Government to request determination as to whether 2 planning applications are a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project.

Christine Emmett is she Local Tory? Conservative candidate from Rutland who won her seat uncontested.

Rutland County Councillor Christine Emett Conservative from Morcott Windmill, Rutland, won her Ketton seat uncontested. at the May 2011 local elections.

Very quickly she was appointed to the top six (cabinet) at Rutland County Council.
Something suggests to me, she won't walk into Corby as easily as she expects.
She has little experience in local government and has never won an election.
At the election count 2011 she stood by and observed the dodgy disgraceful fight conducted by her Tory  Colleagues. Who insisted they would help the counters in an attempt to save Conservative Peter Jones from losing  his seat. I would like to think even he would not approved of the Tory mobs behaviour?

Many rules were broken resulting in the electoral commission giving guidance to the election returning officer chief Executive Helen Briggs.
