There will be a wide range of stalls selling Fairtrade crafts, clothing, accessories,
fabrics and foods. In addition Beans coffee shop will be providing refreshments and
there will be information on how Fairtrade is helping to alleviate poverty in developing
countries. The event is organised by the Rutland Fairtrade Steering Group. Oxfam and
Friends of the Earth are also supporting this event. Subject to other commitments,
Alan Duncan (MP for Melton and Rutland) will be officially opening the Fairtrade
Market at 10:30.
