Job Club

Rutland Library Service working in partnership with Rutland Adult Learning.

The Job Club will runs Access 2 Work hub at Oakham Library and provides advice and guidance to residents who are unemployed. The club also offers help with CV writing and any training issues that people may have.

Wednesday  1pm – 4pm, two members of the Rutland Adult Learning Team are on hand to assist jobseekers in finding work and training opportunities.

The club is an addition to the Access 2 Work programme and aims to complement the National Careers Service sessions run by PJT Employability of Corby, which run on the first Wednesday of every month. The Jobs Club also supplements the volunteer-supported Job Search sessions on Monday and Wednesday mornings, where jobseekers are offered unlimited free internet time to search for and apply for jobs, and get assistance with I.T use. Free printing for CV's and Job Applications is also available at these times.
