Oakham Town Councillor Stan Stubs
Former Rutland County Council Chairman and Oakham Mayor Vijay Dighe
Oakham Town Councillor Maureen Dodds, missed over
six months of council meetings due to health. Oakham Town
Council voted to extend her absence, even though she often
appears well enough to attend events like today's, especially
if it includes a free meal and drink on the tax payer.

Dog units from Leicestershire Police were busy sniffing
around the Church and the town centre.
High Sheriff of Rutland 2014
Air Commodore S Miles D Williamson-Noble of Pickworth,
Rutland Police Commander, Inspector Lou Cordiner currently
she does not appear to be corrupted like the two before her.
(her only fault is she drives a rather silly little car, Monks also
drove a small car)

The public, of course it is expected that as usual Deputy Mayor
Cllr Alf Dewis will once again exaggerate the turn out in his
role as press officer for the council, Despite photographs showing
less the Rutland Times as always will believe him.

Parade had to be moved to the high street because some
one did not seek official closure of the market place and one
person decided to leave a car parked in the middle, it could
not be removed.
