Sainsbury's, Oakham, Rutland, Update Letter

Sainsbury's, Oakham, Rutland, Letter

This week Cllr Alf Dewis Oakham Deputy Mayor chaired a meeting which  he totally messed up, there have been calls for his resignation. Of course that won't happen because the egotistic nasties
who make up are local government never take responsibility for their continuous law breaking.

Cllr Alf Dewis also former Mayor and a person who has a finger in most non democratic organisations throughout Rutland, took pleasure in sharing the details of a standard letter emailed
to many organisations and residents in Oakham. The letter from Sainsbury's updates all about it's intention to clear up the mess at the old college site and shelve its plans to build in Oakham for some time. Councillors like Alf Dewis get some sort of power trip when they think they know something we don't. Cllr Dewis appeared to be visible shocked when the clerk said the members of the public
present had a copy of the letter. The fact the members of the public had a copy shows the clerk is attempting to comply with new laws that state there must not be any hidden documents at meetings.
I had indicated to the council if they continued to refer to documents the public did not have I would
interrupt the meeting and quote the new act and request the documents were given to the public.

Cllr Alf Dewis's copy now published on his town partnership web site.
