Edward Baines (Con) Rutland County Councillor suggests members continue conversation at pub preferable not The Royal Oakham Uppingham
No surprise when you consider it said that Cllr Edward Baines daughter Cllr Lucy Stephenson
has been banned from the pub for be over tired and emotional. Which has resulted in alledged
abuse of council powers against the management tenants of The Royal Oak Pub.
Also at the same meeting the council agreed an enforcement to remove a piece of barbed
wire from a fence described as a gate.
Another issue regarding a A Frame was withdrawn because the pub had agreed to

3.2 A local resident alleged that various alterations were taking place in the beer
garden to the rear of the public house, including the extension of the beer garden
into the car parking area and the display of an ‘A’ board without consent on High
Street East.
Rutland County Council applies most laws in a very corrupt way and often
uses them as a weapon against those they don't like.
Whilst out in the town this morning, I spotted a Rutland County Council, A Frame
obstructing the High Street. I telephoned the Council Planning Department
and asked why the councils recent enforcement upon the pub does not apply to
Rutland County Council? So often the case. The nice lady on the other end
of the phone took my details and said the councils enforcements officer would be
contacting me. The did not. So later in the afternoon the A Frame was delivered
and receipted to Rutland County Council as lost property found on the High Street.
