The Co-op closed its doors this year after agreeing to give way to Aldi
who have now announce they have now shelved plans to open in Chatteris.

Residents of Chatteris Cambridgeshire are left with know place to buy food and
other essentials after Tesco decided to build a new store in their town and then
not open it.






















Tesco diverted a river, built a large roundabout and a new underpass from
a new housing estate.






















Tesco has announce it will be compensating the town with a donation of
£20,000 for community purposes. "Every Little Helps"
