Mindfulness - What's All The Fuss About? Rutland Dyslexia presentation

Wednesday, November 18th  5:15 pm

This is a presentation organised by 'Rutland Dyslexia',
(part of the Dyslexia Association Outreach Service).

Cost: £5.00 on the door

The speaker is Maureen O'Callaghan, a consultant practitioner in Mindfulness and well-being.

We invite people to come and discover what mindfulness is, how it works and why it is being used in education, health, workplace and criminal justice settings.

Our target audience includes teachers, teaching assistants, parents, older students, anyone and everyone with an interest in the mental health of young people.

Maureen will explore the effects of mindfulness on parent, teacher and pupil well-being and performance, including how mindfulness can help people with dyslexia improve working memory, sustained attention and concentration.

She will have advice and suggestions as to how to learn more about the benefits of mindfulness (for all).
