Oakham Town Council to reconsider over turning CCTV decision after pressure from Hugh Crouch Rutland County Council
I am not sure why we are being forced to reconsider this matter. Considering the CCTV saga
has been subjected to the same media coverage as the hunt decision and it was decided by the
chairman and clerk we would not reconsider a second application because we might look
stupid.

Following telephone conversations with Hugh Crouch at RCC and e-mail requests from members please note that you will be asked to reconsider the decision taken at the end of November to remove the CCTV pole at Royces at next weeks meeting
Hugh will be asked to come in prior to the meeting next week to appraise you of the reasons why.
Regretfully, there is no time for any members to submit a written report and there are pressing reasons as to why the original decision needs to be reconsidered next week as the pole is scheduled to be removed during the week commencing 25th January 2015
