Nick Begy (Conservative) has been elected uncontested as Rutland County Councillor for Greetham Ward.
The seat was previously held by his father Cllr Roger Begy OBE
Mr Begy will serve as a councillor until the next round of normal elections in 2019.
I wish Nick the best of luck taking on the role as a Councillor on Rutland County Council.
It is a great shame Greetham has not been contested for many years.
