First Email From Rutland County Council The Hawksmead Money was The Town Councils and Not the Town Partnerships
When the former Clerk Richard White first found money had been paid to Oakham Town Council
he did not know why. so he wrote to all members because he did not know why the money had been
paid by Rutland County Council. He suggested it was an error.
This soon changed to it might belong to Oakham Town Partnership.
He wrote to Rutland County Council and he received the reply below.
This email or the information contained within was not shared with all members of the
council.
a few day later the Assistant Clerk telephoned Rutland County Council insisting the
money was the town partnerships and requested how the money should be returned
to Rutland County Council??
