1,324 soprano pipistrelle bats living in the roof space of St Edmund’s Church in Egleton Rutland. The young bats can fall through small cracks in the church ceiling and die. So the church is raising £5000 to repair the ceiling.

This weekend is the last chance to visit the studios open all over Rutland.
Today I visited the studio of an Oakham potter Nicky Lomas, certainly worth a visit this weekend.
