David Bowie: Sound and Vision, BBC1, 7:30pm The show will take a look back at Bowie over the years, from his early beginnings to his most recent music, as well as examining his influence on the music world.
David Bowie: A Tribute, Channel 4, 10:35pm – Billed as a ‘one hour musical tribute’, expect some of Bowie’s most notable hits and some fond recollections from friends and fans in the wake of his passing.
David Bowie – Five Years, 8pm, Yesterday – This is a repeat of a 2013 BBC documentary, which follows the musician over key one-year periods in his early career.
David Bowie – Five Years, 11.15pm, BBC2 – It can also be seen later on the BBC, who have moved the snooker over to BBC1.
David Bowie: Video Killed the Radio Star, 7:30pm, Sky Arts (Tuesday, January 12) – The documentary features directors David Mallett and Tim Pope among others, discussing the challenges, expense, and visions behind David Bowie’s music videos.

Rutland Royal Artillery marched through Oakham
About 50 soldiers of the Royal Artillery marched in Oakham Rutland after serving six months in Afghanistan.
Crowds turned out to welcome soldiers of 32 (Minden)
Battery, 16th Regiment Royal Artillery, when they paraded through Oakham
to mark their return.The soldiers, based at St George's Barracks, North Luffenham, were joined by the Band of the Ghurkhas.
The regiment, which provides low level air defence, is the only Rapier Regiment in the British forces.
The troops then made their way to Oakham Castle where more than 20 servicemen and women were presented with their Operation Herrick campaign medals by Dr Howard. The Lord Lieutenant of Rutland
the Chairman of Rutland County Council and the Mayor of Oakham were also present along with Chief Executive Briggs and Conservative Leader Roger Begy. The High Sheriff was also present.
The rain stayed away.
