Established in 1913 by Henry Byham a family run business is now headed by great grandsons Nigel & Henry Byham. Better known as the Ballingdon Dairy
Speaking with the owner we thought the Diary could possibly be one of the only functioning in-town diary's in England, I am not sure if Hitchin's Diary still exists. Another I saw was in Bloomsbury London, that buiding is now a Pizza Express.
The Electric Float are long gone, but who knows the way fuel bills are rising they may come back.
The cost of discounted fuel here in Oakham costs more than the expensive petrol station on the A1 but not as bad as further north a member of my family said the paid 133.9 yesterday!
