Special Constable and Oakham Town Councillor Adam Lowe, said Leicestershire Constabulary is not happy with the new management style at Calico. He expressed many concerns including the foam parties. To me it all looks good clean fun!

All Saints Church Oakham
Rev Lee Francis Dehquani said he is very pleased with church
attendance so far this Christmas.
Christmas Eve saw a record attendance at
the Christingle service over 400 people
midnight Mass saw standing room only.
The first part of the service was lit by candlelight

The landlord of an Oakham pub and his partner have had a lucky escape after arsonists struck overnight.
Emergency services were called to Calico in Mill Street at half one this morning.
Police are treating as arsons with intent to endanger life.
Inspector Monks of Oakham Police speaking on Rutland Radio's 6 O Clock News requested people to give him a call with information.
