Oakham Town Councillor Matthew Taylor ignores ward residents

Oakham Town Councillor Matthew Taylor ignores ward residents.

Hi Martin, Could you do a blog along the lines ... Matthew Taylor ignores the citizens of his ward. Matthew Taylor's not acknowledged receipt of Joanna Goodliffe's email of 22/01/11 calling for his immediate resignation, let alone replied to it. What a shoddy way to treat the citizens he's been co-opted to represent.

Town & County Councillors are not required by law to respond to the public, it may not be a legal requirement but surely it would be courteous.

Your MP is required by law to respond to all written correspondence.

Cllr Matthew Taylor is asked to resign by local artist Jo Goodliffe

Local Artist Jo Goodliffe, is calling for the resignation of Oakham Town Councillor Matthew Taylor.

Matthew Taylor is a former Rutland County Council Planning Officer who is now a partner working at SSR Planning Northampton.

Ms Goodliffe says 'Mathew Taylor gave reckless and incompetent advice, behind her back to Inclusive Design ltd Nottigham after she had dismissed their services'

Ms Goodliffe say she has been subject to bullying and discrimination as a result of his incompetent actions.

The whole episode has caused her such heart ache and suffering. If Cllr Matthew Taylor had not been incompetent she would not be have had to pay over £35,000 for plans she did not want and which are not permissible.

Ms Goodliffe is horrified to find this man has been co-opted onto Oakham Town Council for her ward.

She is currently asking him to resign, she has not yet received a reply.
