Oakham Town Councillor Adam Lowe Donates Sponge

Oakham Town Councillor Adam Lowe Donates Sponge

My first Council meeting passed well, Councillor Adam Lowe asked if I had a sense of humour before donating me a sponge.

He had read Rutland County Councillors, Deputy Leader Terry Kings email!

The sponge is a donation for my new company for which Cllr King has pledge a nice undisclosed cash sum, if I can put a business plan together. Although latterly the offer appears to have changed from a pledge of his own money to a loan. I don't like debt.

I think the sponge could be a stock item for my new £1 store, although previous discussions with the public  led me to believe if a £1 shop was to open here in Oakham it would charge £1.20 per item?
