Choral Evensong for Harvest Festival

Public event By Deene Park, Northamptonshire

St Peters Church, Deene

Made redundant in 1980, St. Peter's Church in Deene is now in the care of The Churches Conservation Trust.

This is the perfect opportunity to see the Church used in a way that was once a regular occurence.

After the service there will be a chance to access the south chapel containing monuments to the Brudenell family.

These date from 1531 and include the tomb by J.E. Boehm of the 7th Earl of Carigan and his wife. There will be refreshments provided and a collection held towards the work of The Churches Conservation Trust.

For more information please contact the Administrator of Deene Park on 01780 450278

If you live or are visiting Rutland

You must visit Deene Park in Northamptonshire

A wonderful day out the house is fab and the garden on a sunny day super.

People know I complain, some may not know I also compliment, when I visited I found the staff so friendly and enjoyed the day, when I returned home I wrote and thanked the owner. To my surprise I received a post card thanking me for visiting.
