Lalique Beauty changes name to Ellique Beauty 55 South Street, Oakham, Rutland, LE15 6BG
Wonder what they will do with the large rock they carve the old name into?
I am assuming the name change is due to a trademark infringement, 'Lalique' glass has long been a world-famous brand, internationally admired and still in production today under Swiss ownership.
There is another independent retailer here in Oakham who is using a name of a smaller chain of 6 shops with its head office here in Rutland the retail units are located in Edinburgh, Morpeth, Harrogate, Gainsborough and Stamford,their brand is stocked in a large list of stores up and down the country and accross to Northern Ireland, so I imagine we will see another name change possibly very soon. I have heard people saying how nice it is this company has opened a shop in Oakham, This is why companies rergister names ™ Trade Mark to protect their image and revenue, you would think people would check before setting up a company its not that difficult.
