Richard White Oakham Town Council Clerk reports the sad death of Mr Roberts, the County Secretary. Many of the current Town Councillors met Mr Roberts through training sessions organised by the Leicestershire and Rutland Association of Local Councils and the Clerk had often contacted him for advice on a wide variety of issues.
