Oakham School is set to host a special presentation of "The Autumn of My Years," a touching radio play by Uppingham actor and writer Henry Dawe, as part of its annual Service Weekend. About the Play: "The Autumn of My Years"
First broadcast on Harborough FM in 2023, "The Autumn of My Years" tells a story centered on the theme of inter-generational friendship. It explores how meaningful relationships can bridge the gap between different age groups, offering companionship and mutual understanding. The play's message resonates deeply with the current national conversation surrounding isolation, which is why its presentation is being linked directly to the vital work of the Campaign to End Loneliness.
