Vote, Richard Swift, Liberal Democrat, Oakham South East Ward, Rutland County Council, Election

Vote,  Richard Swift, Liberal Democrat, Oakham South East Ward, Rutland County Council, Election

Finaly Richard Swifts lealfet arrived, I was pleased to read my single vote is not wasted.

Mr Swift says "I am standing for election because, like many people, I am dissatisfied with the way that the current council operates. It does not provide succinct, rational replies to the questions that are raised against their policies."

Most readers know I agree with this statement and this relates to both Rutland County Council and Oakham Town Council and suffer the consequences for saying just that.

I hope people will vote out all the Tory old dead wood and then kick out the chief executive and we can truly have a new council for the people.

Records show there is not much hope, this will happen because those who don't like the council don't vote.

So if you want real change pleas vote on May 5th and don't vote Conservative.

I met Mr Munton one of the new Conservatives candidates, he seemed a good man, I wondered if he knew what he was letting himself into.

In our ward we have a small chance to help the change much needed, you only have to place one vote.
Don't bother with Mr Plews Conservative, he has done nothing for our ward over the past four years, sorry he did nick something a few weeks ago, I had already sorted new grass on the verges of Woodland View once the little build is completed. Mr Munton can continue to look after his lorries.

Nominations for Rutland County Council Elections Oakham South East Ward

Nominations for Rutland County Council Elections Oakham South East Ward

Jonathan Robert  (Conservative) 6 Brooke Close, Oakham, Rutaldn LE15 6GD

Gene Plews (Current Conservative Councillor) 4 Mill Street, Duddington, Stamford, PE9 3QG

Richard Lawrence Swift (Liberal Democrats) 11 The Vale Oakham, Rutland, LE15 6JQ

This one is a puzzle to me it is the ward I live in, because there are two seats to fill, If I am correct I get two votes. I most certainly wont be voting conservative so the Liberal Democrat gets both my votes.

I will vote and hope everyone will vote at this election. We need change.
