Sir Alan Duncan MP interviews Adam Tate, Young Social Action Ambassador.
Adam is part of a Network and initiative at Number 10 set up by the Cabinet Office with
the Prince of Wales Initiative 'Step Up to Serve.
Adam is on of the 49 Young Social Ambassadors; there are in the East Midlands, Adam is
responsible for Leicestershire, Rutland and South Lincolnshire.
All the Ambassadors are volunteers between the age of 16-25.
Adam is a student at the University of Oxford and when at home he works for Melton Borough
Council.
Throughout the region Adam will be looking to find fantastic and inspiring volunteering.
He will require help to carry out this task and hopes that help will come from 15 local authority CEOs, 14 MPs, 2 Chief Constables 15 local Mayors, 2 Chief Fire Officers, 3 Lord Lieutenants,
1 EMAS Director and many other in our community.

The daily Points of Light award recognises outstanding individual volunteers - people who are making a change in their community.
It has been developed in partnership with the hugely successful Points of Light programme in America, which was established by President George H W Bush, and has since recognised over 5,000 individuals and has the support of President Barack Obama.
Points of Light winners are found by a network of volunteers, including National Citizen Service graduates and members of the Step up to Serve coalition. However, if members of the public would like to make a nomination they can write to the Prime Minister.
Prime Minister David Cameron said:
"We should do more as a country to recognise volunteering. In America they have Points of Light. President George H W Bush spoke about 1,000 Points of Light shining out in difficult times. Britain is going to have its own Points of Light scheme."
