Queensgate Shopping Centre up till Sunday 19th December you can donate gifts for local underprivileged children. Simply come and visit the Giving Tree and pick a tag, then visit one of the stores to buy a suitable gift.
It could be clothes, toys, books, games, in fact anything suitable for the child's age and gender on the tag you've chosen from the tree.

At the Tesco Planning meeting at Rutland County Council Cllr Peter Jones exercised his right to make a statement before leaving the meeting.

He said most traders were not struggling in Oakham that is good to hear. But this is not what some tell me.

I find you can get better value if you take a look out of town and it seems traders wont suffer if Cllr Peter Jones is correct.
