This week Rutland County Council is consulting the public and holding consultations at Victoria Hall Oakham.
The Town Council are used to the privilege of private meetings with organisations before meetings, something I object too, if its a developer putting in a planning application I don't attend, because ordinary members of the public are not permitted this privilege when they submit a planning application. We were told Rutland County Council staff were coming to speak to us before next weeks meeting. Fortunately Rutland County Council staff were unhappy to come along and spend an hour solely with Oakham Town Councillors. I don't blame them! It has been agreed the Council staff will hold the meeting in public, so if you want to find out more about this document come along to Victoria Hall, High Street, Oakham at 6.00pm on Wednesday.
