Loot

By Joe Orton

Hal's having a bad day. It's his mother's
funeral, he's robbed a bank, he needs
somewhere to hide the loot and the
police are his trail. Aided and abetted
by his randy friend the undertaker and
his late mother's nurse, he attempts
to keep one step ahead of the law.

Joe Orton's anarchic black farce has no
reverance for death or the recently
departed, no respect for the Church
and positively celebrates police brutality
and corruption. It is adult, outrageous-
and side splittingly funny.
