Malcolm James Trobe. Interim general secretary, The Association of School and College Leaders. For services to Education. (Leicestershire)



ORDER OF THE BRITISH EMPIRE, CIVIL

Andrew Benedict Burns. Executive Principal, The Redhill Academy Trust, Nottinghamshire. For services to Education. (Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire)





Maggie Shutt, 58, festivals and events manager at Leicester City Council, has been made a Member of the British Empire (MBE) for services to culture and the community in Leicestershire.


Steve White, who runs Aim Strong Sport, which are PE specialists, has been given an Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for voluntary services to education and sport particularly in Leicestershire.


Jeremy Skipper, 77, former chairman of Trustees, Rutland Agricultural Society, has been given an MBE for services to Agriculture in the East Midlands.


Malcolm Trobe, interim general secretary of the Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL), has been awarded a CBE for services to education


Myra Brodie, 62, of Market Harborough, has been given a British Empire Medal (BEM) for services to education. She has been a school crossing patrol, at Little Bowden Primary School, in Market Harborough

Susan and James Houghton, of Desford, have been given a BEM for services to sport and wellbeing in the community in Desford, Leicestershire.


Hitesh Chandarana, of Thurmaston, assistant officer, for personal tax operations, HM Revenue and Customs, has been awarded an MBE for services to tax compliance.

Christopher James Worman, of Coalville, Leicestershire, parks and grounds manager for Rugby Borough Council has been awarded an MBE for voluntary services to the Green Flag Award Scheme and Public Parks.

Victoria Macqueen, 36, of Hinckley has been given a BEM for services to women's and youth sport participation and to charity.

She trained as a PE teacher, working at Redmoor Academy in Hinckley since 2003, where she is currently head of PE. She has always emphasised the importance of competitive sport.

Mrs Edna Smith, a volunteer at Home-Start has been given a BEM for services to families in Leicestershire.

John David Wallace, of Groby, governor at The Latimer Primary School, Anstey, Leicestershire has been awarded a BEM for services to education.
