Town Councillor Adam Lowe made Oakham mayor Zoe Nealson feel victim-blamed.

All Saints Church Safeguarding Officer and Town Councillor Adam Lowe made Oakham mayor Zoe Nealson felt victim-blamed.

This has been dreadful for Zoe, sadly I don't think she will be the last.
Adam Lowe can be your friend one day, behave like this the next and then want to be you friend the very next day.
A man intimidating and threatening a woman is 100% unacceptable.
I wonder what Cllr Lowe has to do before he would consider resignation.
It appears to be nothing.

Cllr Zoe Nealson has spoke to the local paper, she tells them she feels 'victim-blamed' I fully understand that after my past experiences with Adam Lowe and how the local authority failed to deal with him. He always had a clever way of turning complaints against him and his victims become the guilty person, often the bully Adam Lowe would claim he was being bullied. Even when his inappropriate emails were shared with the council nothing was done.

Despite Rutland County Councils conduct committee ruling in her favour, Councillor Nealson said she has felt a lack of support from the town council. History repeating itself, I wonder if the other members feel intimidated.

The complaint against Cllr Adam Lowe followed an incident on 16th July when Councillor Lowe visited the mayor at her home to discuss an issue with the town council.
Councillor Nealson says he was putting pressure on her to make a decision affecting the council, and also made an inappropriate comments about her personal life.

Councillor Nealson, also told the paper “After the meeting people were saying that I’d just misunderstood his banter.

“As women we’ve all felt that way - being made to feel uncomfortable but not able to say anything. I don’t want my girls growing up feeling like that and I don’t want my boy to grow up thinking it’s OK to make someone feel that way.”

This is not the first time I have heard Adam Lowes inappropriate conversations with woman described as banter.

Cllr Adam Lowe is well known in the community and other organisations. It is hoped other people who may have been a victim of Cllr Adam Lowes 'BANTER" or inappropriate conduct will now speak out.
