RUTLAND COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF ELECTION
ELECTION OF A DISTRICT COUNCILLOR
For the
WHISSENDINE WARD

1. An election is to be held of A DISTRICT COUNCILLOR for the
WHISSENDINE WARD OF RUTLAND COUNTY COUNCIL

2. Nomination papers may be obtained from the RETURNING OFFICER,
RUTLAND COUNTY COUNCIL, CATMOSE, OAKHAM LE15 6HP who will
at the request of any elector for the said electoral area, prepare for signature
a nomination paper.

3. Nomination papers must be delivered to the RETURNING OFFICER,
RUTLAND COUNTY COUNCIL, CATMOSE, OAKHAM, RUTLAND LE15
6HP on any day after the date of this notice, but not later than 4 pm on the
19 September 2014.

4. If an election is contested, the poll will take place on the 16 October 2014.

5. New applications to vote by post and requests to cancel or change an
existing postal or proxy vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at
RUTLAND COUNTY COUNCIL CATMOSE OAKHAM by 5 pm on the 1
October 2014, if they are to be effective for this election.

6. New applications to vote by proxy except on the grounds of a medical
emergency must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at RUTLAND
COUNTY COUNCIL CATMOSE OAKHAM by 5 pm on the 8 October 2014, if
they are to be effective for this election.

7. Applications to vote by proxy on the grounds of a medical emergency must
reach the Electoral Registration Officer at RUTLAND COUNTY COUNCIL
CATMOSE OAKHAM by 5 pm on the 16 October 2014 if they are to be
effective for this election.
