Oakham Town Council To Approve New Standing Orders and Financial Regulations
Its been a long time coming, Oakham Town Council is to consider a draft on March 2nd 2011.
It is currently being proof read.
I trust Cllr Alf Dewis and Cllr Sharon Spencer are not going to leave Oakham Town Council with another mess in May?

Oakham Town Council Standing Orders
Oakham Town Council Standing Orders are either out of date or made up who knows.
Maybe the town cerk who is paid to keep the council up to date can enlighten the Council?
Thank you for contacting the Northamptonshire County Association of Local Councils (Northants CALC).
The National Association of Local Councils (NALC) model Standing Orders have just been republished in a 2010 edition and don’t contain any reference to Circulars. NALC hasn’t issued Circulars for years, so I would imagine whatever you are reading is now out of date. Attached is the latest NALC Legal Topic Note on complaints is attached. Please contact your local County Association of Local Councils if you require additional help.
Best regards,
Danny.
