Leicestershire Police employ a member of staff to encourage officers to use social networking such as Twitter.
It appears they also have a member of staff who discourages officers from using Twitter, especially if they are going to down a few glasses of Northfields Farm wine and then Tweet a few critical tweets about the police.
I am told by another officer they can not criticise or support public criticism of Leicestershire police.
Of course the public cant do that either or they say your mad or annoying...
