Cory Environmental Oakham Town Council 15th December 2010
Cllr Alf Dewis started to give his report regarding the contract for the maintenance of the parks.
Cllr Sharon Spencer interrupted and said is this not confidential. Mr Dewis continued to report the working group recommend the contract is awarded to Cory Environmental, I assume this is a done deal it was clear Cllr Sharon Spencer was not pleased the name had been read out in public and in a rather flustered manner said of this means its not the final decision.
The working group want it they will get it?
I am off to William Hill....
I like the new openness at Oakham Town Council I don't all approve.

Oakham Town Council Meeting absence 15th December 2010
Oakham Town Council Meeting absence, Once again Cllr George Swiffen was sick.
This week Cllr Charles Haworth was off sick. Be fore Cllr Sharon Spencer had barely finished the announcement Cllr Joyce Lucas woke everyone up by shout Yes! I propose we accept.
Why not?
A Councillor then went onto report "he has issues"
I am sure he does?

Oakham Town Council Meeting tonight 7.30pm
Oakham Town Council meeting tonight.
I would like to point out this is a public meeting.
I do not record it as suggested a few days ago. (This was not mentioned in Standards statements it was contained in a comment on this blog.)
Infact the Clerk Richard White who does a super job provides me with a copy of his report, I use this to create posts after the meeting. Mr White even has a copy of agendas at hand when I call in to collect one.
I am off now, after enjoying the most wonderful Salmon Steak from Tesco Oakham fish counter a friend yes I do have some was offered a whole Salmon at the reduce price of £5 and they gave me half.
I am sure my best friend, who also works at the same fish counter would have pointed out the same offer to us both.
