Oakham Co-op Glum Christmas The Co-operative

Oakham Co-op Glum Christmas The Co-operative
Listening to Rutland Radio this morning the presenter was expressing his concern that shoppers in
the local Tesco were not looking happy this Christmas.

I thought I would take a look, I found staff at Tesco getting into the Christmas spirit. I did spot some happy people shopping, of course we all know supermarket shopping is not a past time of choice for many of us.

Next it was off to Oakham Co-op a smart store almost empty and the staff not to happy the Bah Humbug hats a good match with the uniform.

I purchased some fruit no waiting at the checkout. What I can't understand is we are led to believe most people in oakham hate Tesco but the Co-op is never busy and its a fine store. The fruit I purchased was half the price than the Tesco equivalent.

Oakham Co-op will be open Boxing Day
Oakham Tesco will be closed
