Carphone Warehouse Oakham Bonkers
I took a friend into Carphone Warehouse to help make a purchase.
Unfortunately the old person left empty handed.
If you are old, disabled or blind you may not use CHIP and PIN and have an arrangement with your bank to Swipe and Sign.
If you do Swipe and Sign, don't waste your time attempting to shop at Carphone Warehouse. No Chip and PIN means no ID, No Sale!!!
They won't accept a passport or any other form of ID?
I cant believe a company as large as Carphone Warehouse have this policy.
They also need to teach the member of staff some manners.

Oakham Town Council Paranoia Councillor Maureen Dodds
Oakham Town Council Paranoia Councillor Maureen Dodds.
Looking for yellow label products at our local Co-op Super Store, I stopped to have chat with a friend.
While chatting away, I saw Oakham Town Councillor Maureen Dodds pushing a laden trolley towards us. I politely greeted the Councillor, rather bizarrely she ignored my greeting and invited my friend to inspect the content of her trolley and suggest it could be photographed. "It contains no booze"! she said.
Is she off her trolley? I was surprised by her behaviour, whilst my friend told her the content was pretty.
I took a peak. Yes for a change the Councillor was telling the truth. Plenty of unhealthy treats and chicken and no visible booze.
We walked away rather surprised by the Councillors strange behaviour and concluded this event will be twisted. CCTV at the Co-op will show the Councillor approached us and pointed to her trolley.
All she had to do is return the greeting or ignore me, I wonder when our local councillors are going to grow up!
When trying to find long life orange juice we could not find any in the soft drink aisle, for some reason at the Co-op it is by the jam and Marmite. We took a look at the booze section and found a customer buying a few drinks for the weekend, we told them about the incident involving Councillor Dodds and they were happy for me to photograph their trolley. just to add a trolley photo to my blog post. Looks like the will be having fun....
