I mentioned how I thought co-option was democratic and one of the stumbling blocks was the need for the people of the ward to call an election after a resignation. I also mentioned the posting of a small notice did not inform the elector. I noticed the notice of Jan Fillighams resignation has been posted and it has been enlarged to A3.
So all we need now in the SE ward of Oakham is for some one to write a letter with 10 names and we will see democracy in action.
