She happily told me a bit about its history, From the time it was the Ford’s Home. Rosemary Ford married Mr White and that’s how the family name disappeared from the owners of Fords Department Store. The present owner of the store is Richard White not the town clerk.
The house is currently owned by the Boon family best know for publishing company Mills & Boon.)

The choice of estate agent surprises me, I was not aware Spencers Countrywide properties had an exclusive section
I fear this fine home will be snapped up by a developer and converted into flats, it also has a huge garden.
The location is not the best for these modern times, Anti Social behaviour from late night drinkers it high unlikely a family would enjoy the area.
I know Cllr Peter Jones lives in the same area in another fine town house and it drove him to a drunken brawl in the street outside Clay causing Standards for England to investigate.
