Th Cook Shop Oakham High Street Closing Down

As another shop along Oakham High Street begins to close down, I am beginning to ask what planet do our County Councillors live on?

Just before Christmas Cllr Peter Jones told a packed Council meeting all the traders he speaks to are doing very well.Then Foot Loose Mill Street closed down, I assume to spend all the cash that came flowing in, some sunnier place.

Then after Snow fell he was at it again Cllr Peter Jones said the snow had done wonders for the towns retailers. So why is one of Oakham's newest traders packing up shop?

Not all traders agree with Cllr Peter Jones and not all traders receive a Councillors Allowance + expenses
on top of any profit made from their shops.
