Dear Rutland County Councillors
I am not going to let the following matter drop, I refer to Councillor Joyce Lucas's Standards Statement, In which she states at a local standards meeting held in Rutland Council Chamber she heard people talking about me a falsely calling me a paedophile.
I feel this is homophobic behaviour possibly from councillors or staff and the local standards committee.
This can not be accepted and must be dealt with.
You are all aware this is a description used by your friends outside the council.
Former Town Cllr Jim Harrison
Taxi Driver David Burton
Husband of former Councillor Mrs Tyers (first time I was called this was at the election count 2009 by Mr Tyers this was witnessed and reported to head of legal services Mr Pook, he said leave it with me and did nothing.
This label has stuck with me and often makes walking out and about in Oakham unpleasant and possibly dangerous. Particularly North of the railway crossing where most of these people live.
Cllr Joyce Lucas is lying, when she says she does not publicly describe me in this way. Since my complaint was not upheld other members of the public have approached me to confirm what is being said.
This totally unacceptable and it clearly a greater concern for member of Rutland County Counucil to behave in this way and a total disgrace these people may be involved with Standards.
I was asked to look into Rutland County Councillors attendance and expenses?
I made a FOI request and I have received a response from the council
A new blog post is currently under construction relating to these matters
