the first CAMRA beer festival in Rutland at the Museum on 25th and 26th June.
I heard a rumour this was going to happen last year.
in the Museum?
This could be interesting will they hang a few drunks for fun?
It a long time since Oakham Gallows have been used.
The museum has never been a whole day out, but since the introduction of the cinema space and the expansion of the shop, there is little to see.
It seems the museum is on its way out and becoming a money making centre for events.
Only this week the council said it was going to flog off 27 exhibits.
We are told local history groups were consulted.
A person said to me today ""they did not consult the Rutland families who donated some of the items"
Are there still Friends of The Museum?
