After pointing out all the waste at the old Catmose College, I was criticised by a local woman via facebook.
accused of making things up. The new college said nothing had any value or use. I disputed this and now Rutland County Council are offering businesses the chance to get their hands on some FREE furniture on Friday 25 March from 2pm-4pm. There is loads of perfectly good furniture, I would suggest members of the public should also be given a chance to take some items after all as tax payers they paid for it all.
Old school furniture including chairs, desks, filing cabinets, office chairs and office desks will be available on a first come first serve basis to local businesses.
People should come to the main entrance of the old Catmose College site on Cold Overton Road, Oakham from 2pm-4pm to collect the furniture and are encouraged to make a small donation to the Macmillan Cancer Support fund.
