Oakham Town Council Tennis Club Flood Lights Decission
Tonight Oakham Town Council as Landlords decided not to grant Oakham Tennis Club permission to install flood lights.
Its not surprising when you consider the threatening conduct of the Chairman of the club.
The presentation at a previous meeting led by the chairman was very poor and his resorting to a letter personally attacking the leader of the residents associated was unacceptable. If I was a member of the tennis club committee I would be looking for a new chairman. Although something tells me the committee may support his actions and they are typical to Oakham and the behaviour of the local establishment.
Maybe if they approach the town council in the future they will learn from the residents who conducted themselves in a professional manner, even if their leader is a 'nasty man'...
