Places For Schools Oakham Town Council Rutland County Council Survey

Oakham Town Council were asked to complete a survey produced by Rutland County Council.

Considering the Survey

Cllr Nowell Chairman said the answers were impossible to predict.

Cllr Dewis said We can  just guess and give them a estimate or  guestimated answers. Priority of School places should be given to Rutland residents and outsiders should be excluded.


Cllr Guthrie said the key would be one extra primary school and an expansion of secondary school
he also said the survey questionnaire had not been very well formulated by Rutland County Council.

Cllr Dodds said various things in a muddled fashion so I feel it would be best not quote what she said.

Cllr Joyce Lucas Mayor said no class rooms should be mothballed, they should be used for community purpose.
